CSU Extension will be hosting a Cattle Producer’s Coffee at the
Sedgwick County Extension Office. After you have done chores
and checked the cows, join other cattle producers for coffee,
socializing, and a brief presentation about “Colostrum: The First
Milk.” Michael Fisher (Golden Plains Area Livestock Agent) will
share information about the importance of colostrum for the
newborn calf, as well as some storage & handling tips.
